I might believe special golf ball. While I never used APL, and din't find the 
lack of control structures desirable, I very much liked the concept of 
operators and reduction.

Reminds of of the IBM 'guy' we had on-site daily at my fist gig, he had
a 'special' terminal at our site and coded in a language that eludes me
right now - man do I feel old now that I cannot remember stuff
