Definitely 31bit. See the IRXSHVB data area mapping (used by the REXX variables access interface).

I'm asking because many moons ago I tried to use some REXX variables coming from RMM and due to large number of tape volumes (~25000) the script did not work. I asked on IBM-MAIN and people here explained it is because of 24-bit memory limitation.
