No one is willing to correct your screwups, least of all me. 16-bit
displacements do not exist on z. Please summarize
https://gemini.google.com/app/8ecb4a9bdc4d1361 for those who want to correctly
understand displacements. Ask AI the right questions and it's willing to go
into the details we refuse to include.

Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it. There's
nothing worse than irate customers because someone is being unnecessarily
clever. JES2 hot start was most horrifying where a vendor caused IPL's in their
use of IEFJRASP because they wanted to be first on the SSI.

While obscure uses are use cases, they are exceptions that are used by a
handful of people. Why suggest S-CON when there are common standard
implementations.

Displacement is an "offset" relative to a register. Offset is very relative in
this context.

No one is helped by suggesting RFE. With Binyamin's level of experience, he
doesn't need reminding. By suggesting RFE to those who don't have the
experience, they will think you are recommending their situation justifies it's
use.
