Hi Peter,
If the hold data says you need an IPL, you need an IPL.
Modules in SYS.NUCLEUS are loaded into memory very early in the IPL process,
and cannot usually be replaced without an IPL.

Subject: Re: Logrec filling frequent

Hello

I found that UJ08463 PTF was missing which caused this multiple recording
of LOGREC.

Applying UJ08463 updates SYS1.NUCLEUS(IECDDDSR), Hold data says that an IPL
with CLPA is needed.

Instead of an IPL, can I just copy only this module to production
SYS1.NUCLEUS and give an LLA refresh? Just trying to see if an IPL can be
avoided.

Or an IPL is what needs to be done ?

Any suggestions based on your experience will help me.

Regards
Peter
