<sarcasm>Are you joking? Franks company could have stayed on z/VSE and
still have an IT-department.
The reason: long heritage of dedicated people altering the op-sys to
their needs.
- remember Allianz? we never got them for the same reason.
- and for the same reason: Finanz IT (or whatever the name now is) has
only one giant z/OS and a few z/VSEs running </sarcasm>
Run some exotic stuff or have it highly customized (over 40 years) and
no-one will assimilate or convert your installation.
