Q1.You can add the second segment, which you must have defined as Reserved Storage in the LPAR's Activation Profile, with the command: CF STOR(E=1),ON If you then Reset the system without the Clear option, the Reserved Storage remains allocated to the LPAR, if you Reset with the Clear option, the Reserved Storage is removed from the LPAR.
Q2.You can change the LPARs Activation Profile and the Deactivate and Activate the LPAR. No problem, since nothing is running in it.
