NFS and FTP follow ISPF conventions for member ENQ, and NFS at least
(I haven't tested FTP) provides member statistics. Do they likewise respect
the DSN profile setting of STATS?

Hmmm. Do these facilities use common ISPF LM services, or do they
roll their own?

And "touch" via NFS does not update the stats time stamp. I suppose I
should just be glad it doesn't OPEN, STOW, and CLOSE an empty member.
