I believe you are thinking about a different "DISASM" than the support in ISRDDN.

The DISASM command support in ISRDDN uses High Level Assembler module ASMADOP ( https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSLTBW_2.2.0/com.ibm.zos.v2r2.f54mc00/isrdd035.htm )to decode the instructions, which means that this support understands *ALL* of the instructions that the version of HLASM on the system understands.
