Thanks for clarifying. I was also puzzled by this 'pop-up' and the mentioning 
of firewall.

To Barbara, what about setting these in your FTP.DATA dataset this:

FWFRIENDLY        TRUE
DEBUG             ALL 
LOGCLIENTERR      TRUE

and perhaps increase those timer values like DATACTTIME and friends?
