Another option, CBTTAPE.ORG there is more than one utility that reads DCOLLECT 
available.

There are a couple of TMS utilities, but those are more specific to the TMS 
that you are using.

As far as DASD / VSAM / DFHSM BCDS/MCDS, IBM DFSORT team has provided a 
DCOLLECT (generated by IDCAMS) data source parsing / reporting / analysis 
process used with ICETOOL.  And as for tape catalog/TMC inventory, one can find 
suitable dataset/volume inventory reports available (for example, CA-1 provides 
legacy utility TMSGRW).

And as was mentioned in a prior reply, if you have SAS or WPS, then you likely 
have licensed Merrill's MXG software which can generate suitable summary 
reports/outputs for analysis.
