Alas, no, unless things have changed when I was doing this. And now I must confess that it has been a while since I was working as a sysprog and doing this stuff, and things like z/OSMF and Java complicate it. One solution might be to use /service/mvs/resvol, service/java/resvol, service/zosmf/resvol, etc. And now it's getting uglier...
