IBM renamed IMAPTFLE to HMAPTFLE for OS/VS1 and to AMAPTFLE for OS/VS2. See <http://bitsavers.org/pdf/ibm/370/OS_VS2/Release_1_1972/GC28-0633-1_OS_VS_Service_Aids_Sep72.pdf>. It was a far cry from SMP, e.g., no prerequisite or supersede processing.
