Hi,

.AUTOSEL is a concept I'm already using. The drawback is that I need to know
the row number of at least one displayed table row after the next TBDISPL
command has been processed by ISPF. Do you have any idea of how to get hold of
this? This would definitely solve my problem 😊.
Actually I've included the following statement in the ')PROC' section in order
to get notified when the user presses the ENTER key without any input:
IF (&ZTDSELS = 0000) .AUTOSEL = YES .CSRROW = &ZTDTOP
As in all other cases this piece of code won't be called if ISPF doesn't
require the program to provide additional table entries in order to satisfy the
scroll request ☹. The same procedure as last year ...

As far as I can find out '.RESP' doesn't distinguish between the ENTER key and
the scroll keys. At least there is no difference in the ')PROC' section, if it
is called at all. It appears to be 'ENTER' in both cases.

Anyway - thanks for your really helpful comment.

Kind regards,
Immo

I'm *really* rusty, but would .AUTOSEL help? IIRC, it would give you control
back in additional situations.

Another thought:. It may help to check .RESP for a scroll key, save that value,
and set .RESP to ENTER .

Both are a bit cludgy, but something along those lines may help.
