Reply for the archives. I worked offline with Noach and it seems that there is a fairly serious flaw in the COBANAL code in understanding how the binder class offset value relates to finding statically linked application (i.e. not system or language library) CSECT's in a loaded program object.
However, there is a workaround that bypasses the problematic code which at least allows full analysis for the main (entry point) module: //MAINONLY DD DUMMY Using that DD in JCL that runs COBANAL will bypass analyzing statically linked application subroutines. It is not for all programs compiled with Cobol 6.1. Have anybody seen the same. I am fully aware , that all programs on CBT tape are open source and with absolutely no guarantee of functionality I have tried to write to the author , but has got no response Or do anybody use other utilities with same functionality -- This message and any attachments are intended only for the use of the addressee and may contain information that is privileged and confidential.
