Other than doing backups, I would also do a SMP/e BUILDMCS. Here is an example:
SET BDY(FROMDLB) /* DLIB zone where HMP1E00 is installed */. BUILDMCS /* Build the MCS and JCLIN */ FORFMID(HMP1E00) /* for the FMID HMP1E00 */. Please see: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSLTBW_2.1.0/com.ibm.zos.v2r1.gim1000/gim133.htm Should you want to re-instate the old software: RECEIVE, APPLY, and ACCEPT the output in the SMPPUNCH data set that was generated by the BUILDMCS command. Even regular PTF with DELETE cannot be reverted. What to do? make copy of CSF.** datasets. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to lists...@listserv.ua.edu with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
