Associations? Doesn't the IBM server send file types? Doesn't Chrome support file types, which have been in HTTP since Old Man Noach cornered the market in Gopher Wood. It s OK o use associations if the server doesn't send file types; it's not OK to ignore the file types that the server send. Extensions are for dancers.

In older Firefox on MacOS I was able to define new associations. Firefox seems to have dropped that capability lately.
