Why the determination not to financially reward the developers for their efforts? Why would I hypothetically write a 3270 emulator if it's not important enough to pay for?
Why are computer people so loathe to financially reward computer people? We're not talking 1% territory here. Tom Brennan's Vista -- my preferred emulator but not an option for the Mac -- costs $30 for a single user.
