I think I found it.   You have to do a "GROUP" command, etc.  At least that's what
I'm trying at the moment.

The "standard" list of authorized users is in the GCS config file, which
is assembled in the nucleus.  Sureky RSCS and VTAM are listed there.

Isn't this a privileged operation exception. This means the
virtual
machine needs to be setup as a privileged member of the GCS
group
(pardon the terminology).

BTW Thanks to all who responded. I issued the CONFIG
AUTHUSER ADD SNAFU
and it came up fine.


Funny thing is that I have several userid's (RSCS , VTAM,
TPX) IPLing
GCS but nothing in my PROFILE GCS on userid's GCS 191 disk.
