Unless you have security or support policies prohibitting it, I STRONGLY urge you to build it from source. This is a fairly straightforward app to build. (X apps are the worst, but X3270 is the easiest X app I have ever built.)

       download the source
       unpack it
       ./configure
       make
       make install

X3270 will of course need the X development suite installed (headers and libraries). Thankfully, X3270 follows the standard recipe.
