So DUMPLOAD isn't very useful. If you use DUMPLOAD, remember that the file remains in your reader (in USER HOLD status), so to get rid of it, issue "PUR R spid" (or type PUR R before the file in RDRLIST). Side info: When you'd get DISK FULL during DUMPLOAD, the dump file is also still in your reader, but in HOLD and DUMPLOAD will no longer find it. So, before you can load it again, issue "CP CH R spid NOH" or type "CH R / NOH" in RDRLIST. -- Kris Buelens, IBM Belgium, VM customer support 2007/2/7, Shimon Lebowitz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: On 7 Feb 2007 at 18:44, Mikhael Ramirez Joaquin wrote: > Thanks Rob for a quick reply will try to do a DUMP LOAD from my VM. > Please note that the correct spelling is DUMPLOAD - one word, not two. >From HELP CP DUMPLOAD: DUMPLOAD .-SPOOL-. .-OUTFILE--PRBXXXXX--A----------------. >>--DUMPLOAD--+-------+--+-------------------------------------+--- '-TAPE--' | .-PRBXXXXX--A------------. | '-OUTFILE--+------------------------+-' | .-A--------. | '-FILENAME--+----------+-' '-FILEMODE-' USE DUMPLOAD TO PROCESS SYSTEM ABEND DUMPS, STAND-ALONE DUMPS, AND VIRTUAL MACHINE DUMPS.
