If ITBSM is looking for SNMP traps, then you can compile the DPISAMPL C program and use it to send alerts. If ITBSM uses the Tivoli Framework, then you should be able to e-mail a Linux guest to generate the Event for you. Alan Altmark z/VM Development IBM Endicott
