Like PIPEDDR, which does use "trackread" & "trackwrite" but doesn't w

tape  or restore to a larger minidisk. 

But it is still worth looking at as a replacement.

It would help if IBM released the source code to these programs when thei
r
internal support retires. Or remove them from the public offering.
