I second Mike's opinion there.  I am in good 'ole
Peoria, Illinois and wouldn't trade it for a big
city.  My commute is 10 minutes, cost of living is
very reasonable, and if I need a big city fix,
Chicago is only 2.5 hours away.  

True, we have no mountains or ocean nearby, but who
needs that with all the corn fields we have !!
