We use this layout for z/VM, z/OS, Linux, and TPF guests. Some of the z/OS guests are in sysplexes. It doesn't matter. The point is that everyone gets virtual 100, 101, and 102, no matter what the real addresses are, and that each triplet starts on an even real address. If you have more than 5 virtual machines that need OSA access, the pattern continues with real 110, 111, and 11A dedicated as virtual 100, 101, and 102, and so on. Everyone can have the same virtual addresses, but the only way to share real OSA addresses is with a guest LAN or virtual switch.

Or does z/OS need to use 103, 104 and 105 ? ********************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
