Perfectly normal.
There is a  "recomp"  chunk at the end of the disk that is not visible to 
the CMS FS.
It is where the CMS nucleus is stored,  since the 190 is a bootable disk.

Nice catch, Ian.  Very observant.
So CP is telling you how big the minidisk is and CMS is telling you how 
much space it thinks it can use.

Q DASD shows a different disk size than Q DISK






Noticed a curious thing the other day.  Q DASD shows a different disk size 

than Q DISK for S, viz:
