Not directly, no, though you could use VMARC to package the file into an envelope whose timestamp is irrelevant. Then, when the file is unpacked on the other end, the timestamp of the unpacked file is preserved (if you use the OLDDATE option). Alan Altmark z/VM Development IBM Endicott
