Assuming that there are no dumps is spool, is it possible to swap a 3390-03 disk for a 3390-09 having the same volser? It would be a case of formatting and allocating the new disk, change the 03 volser to something else, change the 09 volser to the one the one formerly on the 03, and finally, shutdown reipl.
