I would go with TYPE UNSUPPORTED DEVCLASS TAPE, too. I've never tried it with tape devices so can't be sure, but it seems to be the best way to ma ke CP keep its cotton pickin' hands (or ccw tables) off. The good news is, y ou can try that with just some SET RDEV commands.
