Flashcopy is a way to copy disk content. If it isn't on the disk, it doesn't get copied. As a consequence, you need to get the data out of memory and onto the disk. The best way to do that is to shut down the app and the server, flashcopy all the disks, restart the server and app. Alan Altmark z/VM Development IBM Endicott
