We started with it all in our area(z/VM and Linux) ie Mainframe support. As the work load increased, someone decided the Linux support needed to be moved to the Unix group (Lots of politics involved in that decision) . Now the Unix group has decided this work can all run better and cheaper on 'P' series vs IFL. We are in the process of evaluating platforms and cost relative to our environment.

In your organization, do you support the zLinux distribution as well as z/VM, or are there separate groups in place, one to support z/VM and one for zLinux? Thanks.
