The PAV and base device are not grouped on the path that received the command. I'm not enough of a PAV expert to tell you whether that's a defect in CP (do you have the latest PAV-related service on?) or whether you have a configuration error on the DS8100. Alan Altmark z/VM Development IBM Endicott
