Hi all, We have DS8100 (ZVM) and found many volume are attached with PAV. we cannot detach from the system unless we detach it from PAV volume than detach from the real volume to bring up our linux machine. Following the the message . - Device rdev cannot be detached from the system because it is a base Parallel Access Volume for which one or more alias volumes are attached to the system.
Is there any permanant solution to get rid of the problem. Regards Philip
