In this case, if you are using DDR from a single virtual machine, I would not expect MDC hits as there is no re-referencing of data.
Also, there are some corrections to documentation. Fullpack mdisks are eligible for MDC if set up correctly. At one point in time, if FPMs defined by DEVNO were not eligible, but that restriction was lifted many releases ago (in the code, not in the doc).
