BFS is an > absolute mystery to me. Perhaps you have an ESM running and the ESM is in charge of posix stuff? E.g. in RACF, if you enable it to manage POSIX stuff by coding the ICHNGMAX macro in HCPRWA, you have to 'ADDGROUP system' with an OVM segment that has GID 0.
