Why not SP3? Save yourself some work later. Or even better - 11 SP1. Ext3 will be the default in 11. It's worked fine for us. I don't think you'd want to use ext2 and lose the journaling. Reiser has had issues in the past ( I think it ate at least one persons files) and there is uncertainty about its future.
