RSCS V2 was announced August 7, 1984. (Letter 284-269) Availabliity was September 5, 1985. (Letter 285-306) btw, for non-SNA usage, you can still RSCS in a standalone (single-user) GCS virtual machine - no recovery machine required. Alan Altmark z/VM Development IBM Endicott
