If you are using LACP, must be ETHERNET. (Layer 2)

I believe all you need to do to enable Layer 2 is what you already did -
setting QETH_LAYER2_SUPPORT to '1'.

Leave LLADDR blank.  Then Linux will use the MAC address assigned to the
virtual NIC.
