Ah, I wonder if it is a function of number of devices! Prod has 1800+ DASD vols now, each with a PPRC secondary - so approx 3700 addresses. That would explain why our tiny systems here have seen it too - they have access to the whole farm. We'll see what Endicott says tomorrow I guess. It looks like 16 seconds of it is in the mystery step between processors offline and STEP USOAC. There are 7 processors here though and 5 go offline, FWIW.
