From z/VM CP Planning and Administration, Chapter 17 Creating and Updating a User Directory, under the OPTION statement we have:- RMCHINFO indicates that the specified virtual machine is authorized to access real-machine configuration information, without regard to the virtual machine's configuration. It should be used when OSA/SF (or any other application that may require real machine configuration information) is running under CMS. RMCHINFO should not be specified for guest operating systems. This looks like this could be a problem.
