You should use the grey high pressure outdoor PVC pipe, the other
stuff isn't strong enough and could shatter or break. I believe I
still have 6 or 8 sets of replacement tops that I could bring when we
ever get together. I don't think the pipe breaking is going to cause a
fall or anything like that since the bolt will hold, but it could
potentially injure the horse.

Canadian Trail House sells replacement tops for the EZ Rides. She sold
them so you could have one set of EZ Rides and use them for different
sized leathers.
