I'd only had Andi about 4 months, when I discovered
blood on the inside of his leg from a puncture wound.
I discovered it at night, so I called my mom from next
door, got Andi out in the dark and proceded to hose
his leg down - and he had never been introduced to the
hose! He allowed me to do it and I hosed his leg down
every day for two weeks to promote draining. I think
this early bond of trust is one of the reasons why he
trusts me so much to this day.

Also, the only reason I noticed it in the dark was
because he was trying so hard to get my attention. He
was trying to tell me he had a boo boo and needed my
help.
