Lucky you. I can't count the number of brands that I've tried, and these are the first pair of zipper-half chaps I've found to fit at any price. My friend is the same height, but her legs are very thin and she's able to wear kid's large, maybe x-large. I haven't been so lucky. Ariat has finally started making some in "short" but they didn't fit either. I know there are some brands even pricier than the Tredsteps that come in many sizes, but I haven't been able either to find them to try on, or they didn't fit me.
