Well, you might get the same 50% if you did a poll of people who purchased horses of any breed. I, at least, have been disappointed about 50% of the time.
When I bought the TWH Hunter, I spent a week thinking "I have made a huge mistake" and about 18 months wondering if I would ever learn to like him. I'm still not sure he likes me very much, but he likes me better than any other human of his acquaintance. This is not the case with the Icelandics. I went out to the barn for something about dusk last night. The girls were standing in the hall and I noticed that Yrsa was licking her lips. I looked over at Tosca, and she was licking her lips, too. They are absolutely tuned to me and we've had them only since January. Nancy
