my husband works in areas where there is raw sewage, cleaning up
school spills etc., and they have handouts from the health dept saying
in fla, in summer, conditions can be maintained where the aids virus
will live in sewage for a long time, because basically it is body
temperature here. and there is a certain thermogenic quality to
sewage. but saliva, once it hits a feed bucket, any external surface,
its going to cool at least one or two degrees, which is enough to kill
it. they say.
