I would not.  With a run-in shed they have the choice
of where THEY want to be, even if you don't agree with
it!  Remember, they are horses, not humans, and don't
believe in the same levels of comfort and what is too
cold like we do.  They will be living in a more
natural environment which is healthier and the way
nature meant it to be instead of being forced inside a
stall in a barn.  We think that a barn is more comfy,
but most horses do not, unless they are clipped show
horses, in which case they DO need a barn and
blankets!  Remember, if it is snowing and the snow
collects on them and doesn't melt, it shows how
insulated they are from the cold.
