Virginia, I am soooo smiling...you're going to get everything set up so wonderfully and those horses are going to stand outside on the rainiest, coldest, snow driven windy days and the run-in will stand empty 90 % of the time and you will turn to your dear hubby and say " Why don't they go in?"...I think they LOVE to weather the elements as part of being a horse! >>_I'm wondering if I should put a gate on the run-in shed for days I want them >>inside...<< You might, if you wanted to keep one dry so you could ride or if one was injured or something and you wanted to keep him from going out. Of course you have to keep it shovelled out or it won't close when you need it and thats a pain. Anything that makes your job easier for the unexpected, I'd encourage you to put in now. If you don't use it, no big deal, but if you need it what a relief!
