they say mules are very comfortable and affectionate to horses (mom
was a horse) whereas hinneys are standoffish with horses and if
donkeys are around and they have a choice they will hang with the
donkeys whereas vice versa a mule will hang with the horses if there
is a choice.  maybe just lore but makes sense :)
