Mic - I can't help you with the cause but had the same thing happen as a child to my much loved year old Saanen doe. One moment she was alive and the next I found her dead in her shed. We never could determine what caused her death. I would be interested to hear if you find out anything. My sympathies to you for your little guy. Sarah in MT
