I remember shetlands when I was a kid.  They weren't much smaller than
Icelandics.  I started raising Icelandics about the time the bottom
fell out of the shetland pony market, about the time most Americans
were realizing that it was a rare small child who could ride such a
complicated, rascally animal.  When my prices were higher than the
prices for Shetlands (practically nothing) people would ask why I was
asking so much.  I had a lot of explaining to do.  Annie
