talk about not sitting, i have a runner duck hen that will go along, quack, squat, lay an egg and jump up and run on her merry way, leaving it just plopped out on the ground! Most of my hens dont set either, but I have a buff orpington hen that will set until she starved to death if i didnt take her eggs away!
